Diesel retrofitting off to a good start
The first automobile manufacturers have been offering to retrofit diesel engines for a few days now; the Federal Motor Transport Authority has begun to approve the so-called hardware retrofit kits in advance. Since September 2015, when the so-called "diesel gate" scandal began, environmental associations have been calling for the development of such hardware retrofits. The ADAC is satisfied with this necessary step, according to a press spokesman for the association.
