Fine particle deaths in Germany

The Max Planck Institute reports in its latest study that 120,000 premature deaths due to poor air quality in Germany are recorded each year. The situation is so worrying that it represents as many deaths as with smoking. Perhaps the rules of the current environmental zone should be strengthened?
