Frightening air pollution in New Delhi
The Indian city is constantly struggling with very high levels of air pollution caused by smog, heavy traffic and certainly its geographical location. Last Wednesday, for example, the nitrogen oxide value reached 320 µg/m³, which is 13 times higher than the recommended limit value of the World Health Organization. The fire brigade tried to become master of the situation by pouring water from skyscrapers. This was to bind fine dust and collect it on the ground.
