Fuel cell runs in Lower Saxony
In Germany, a train energised by a fuel cell runs since today. It is a world debut: The train is completely emission free because hydrogen is directly processed into energy. The train reaches a maximum speed of 140 km/h and can go 1.000 km with one tankful. Until 2021, there will be another 13 of these fuel cell trains in Lower Saxony.
